Ana started to play tennis at Oakham Tennis Club, playing in mini squads under the instruction of the R2R tennis coaches. The squads were so much fun that very soon she was asking to play more and more tennis and was invited to join in with the performance squads. Under the guidance and support of Ralph Clarke, her tennis developed and with Ralph’s knowledge of performance tennis he introduced her to one of the regional talent id days. This has eventually led to Ana becoming part of the full time LTA tennis academy based at Loughborough University. However, Ana is still very much part of the R2R structure and they continue to support her progress by assisting her in developing coaching skills. Ana can be found on court assisting the qualified coaches with many of the mini players. R2R tennis provided Ana with the initial enjoyment and foundations from which to develop. They have a great team of coaches and the ability to help juniors achieve high levels of performance within the tennis arena.
