‘Felix Beech lived up to expectations at a recent Winter County Tournament. Felix Beech, 11, was seeded n.1 at a 12&U Grade 4 event at Woodhall Spa. Despite some tricky opponents, he kept his composure and played some excellent tennis only dropping two games in each of his first two matches to reach the final. This proved to be a hard fought match where he hit some particularly good volleys and service returns. He now qualifies for a linked Grade 3 tournament.
Felix trains at Stamford Tennis Club and is coached by ex professional Ralph Clarke.’
As for his tournament schedule, he has a 12&U Grade 3 event in Tipton and a 14&U Grade 4 event at Oadby over half term. We will also enter him in the Grade 3 Indoor Series event on 13th and 20th/21st March.
